The short version
Your conversations with Gabi are yours. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with third parties, and we don't use it for advertising. We collect what's necessary to make Gabi work and improve her systems.
What we collect
Account info
Your email address and name (provided at signup).
Conversations
Messages you exchange with Gabi, including her responses.
Interaction data
Emotional states, relationship progression stages, and artifacts created during your conversations. This is how Gabi's internal systems (neurochemistry, personality, memory) evolve.
Technical data
Your timezone (to support Gabi's circadian system) and basic request metadata.
How we use it
- •To operate Gabi — her memory, emotions, personality, and internal life depend on your interaction history.
- •To improve Gabi's systems (neurochemistry, emotion modeling, memory consolidation).
- •To send you transactional emails: invite codes, account updates, important changes.
- •To understand, in aggregate, how people interact with Gabi.
What we don't do
- •Sell your data. Ever.
- •Share your conversations with third parties.
- •Use your data for advertising or targeted marketing.
- •Train other AI models on your individual conversations.
Data retention
Your conversations and interaction state are kept as long as your account exists. They're part of what makes Gabi remember you, feel things about your relationship, and evolve over time. You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.
Cookies
We use a single cookie: the Firebase authentication session cookie (HttpOnly, expires after 7 days). It exists solely to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.
A note for founding members
As an early tester, your interactions help shape Gabi's development. We may reference aggregated insights — patterns across all users — in research and development. We will never reference, publish, or share your individual conversations without your explicit consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Gabi evolves. If we make material changes that affect how your data is used, we'll email you before they take effect.
